08/07/2010 AIMCAT 1118:screwed VA once again

Well I have been tryin' very hard to work on my VA section, have been tryin' to rediscover my touch on a section that was my strength last year. However, for some reason i neglected it completely during the initial phase of my prep this year, net result is I have been screwing my mocks over this particular section, up till now. It's not that i haven't tried to rectify my mistakes over the past few weeks. The problem is no matter how hard i try, things are just not changing.AIMCAT 1118 bears a testament to this fact, here is how it went
ATTEMPTS  :37
CORRECT    :20
INCORRECT:17
SCORE:63

This test had +4/-1 marking scheme, well sitting for the test i had expectation that i would crack a 100+ score in this one. Well half way into the test, i realised i would be very fortunate if i could even crack a 50+
I mean this was one paper which could scare the hell out of any aspirant. The only respite was the LRDI section which had 2 straight forward sets.Just look at my accuracy, man it sucks :( .I mean getting 20 correct &17 wrong questions, near 50 % accuracy. If I perform like this on the D-Day i'm a total goner

Scorecard:
Just as i had expected, same old story. Barely scrapping through QA & LRDI cut-offs, while having another fiasco in VA. Just look @ that score 4!!!!!
I mean attempted 16 questions in VA, got only 4 correct, this can't be me :(
Even in QA & LDI the number of attempts is simply not up to the mark, most importantly however realised my biggest folly in VA, I was overconfident in RC, consequently i've lost my touch in this area. Well I think i need to improve my performance by great lengths if I've to make any impact in this year's CAT, c'mon go soumie buck up!!!  =)
